This Raw Manuka Honey comes from New Zealand. Manuka Honey is collected with care from the down-under native Manuka trees. New Zealand has over 80 Manuka species within its native remote forests, including the same native Leptospermum scoparium species that is found in New Zealand. This diverse environment allows for the highest quality Manuka Honey production. This honey is imported directly from the New Zealand suppliers who take pride in producing only the highest quality products. Our New Zealand Manuka Honey 300+ is cool processed (raw) and independently tested so it is guaranteed to have a MG (methylglyoxal) rating of 300mg/kg.
Raw means it has undergone less processing making it higher in healthy enzymes and retaining a distinctive flavor. It has been tested as MGO300+. Methylglyoxal or MGO is the naturally occurring compound that makes Manuka honey so special.
