Purple Honey | North Carolina Appalachian | 4 oz
Product Details
Brand: World of Honey
If you are someone who enjoys trying unique and delicious honey, then you should consider Purple Honey from North Carolina. This local honey is renowned for its rich and distinct flavor, as well as its vibrant purple color. It is one of the rarest kinds of honey in the world and is only produced in very limited quantities. Whether you are a honey enthusiast or simply looking for something new, Purple Honey is definitely worth a try.
Purple Honey comes from the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. Our Purple Honey was discovered in hives during the Sourwood flow in Murphy, North Carolina.
We have packaged this honey in an 1800's style embossed 4 oz glass jar.
It is rich honey with a berry taste. Purple Honey is known to be one of the rarest kinds of honey in the world. This is raw, pure honey with no additives.
All the honey we sell is raw, meaning it is not heated or pasteurized. This helps to retain that fresh from the hive taste.
Raw honey will tend to crystallize, some naturally do this quicker than others. If you find your honey starting to crystallize, gently warm it on the stove with the sealed glass jar in a pan of warm water. This slow heating will remove the crystals without altering the honey's flavor or destroying the natural enzymes.
